Dominic K. Olson

Hi! I’m Dominic, an electrical and computer engineering graduate student at UCLA advised by Prof. Ian Roberts. My interests include signal processing, machine learning, wireless, and embedded systems.

I have experience in these areas as applied to the robotics, automotive, and semiconductor industries through my internships at Qualcomm (2025), NVIDIA (2024), and Nuro (2022, 2023).

I completed my B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 2024, also at UCLA. During undergrad, I conducted research on low-noise RF systems advised by Prof. Yuanxun Ethan Wang. I was also a project lead and lab manager at IEEE at UCLA.

When I’m not doing engineering research and projects, I enjoy playing music, running, and biking.
